- 1. Keep tailgate door open on max height, remove inner trim panel.
- 2. Unplug the plug, use tools to loose the old spherical joint and insert new one.
- 3. Plug the liftgate plug and recover the inner trim panel.
- 4. Use diagnostic scanner to clear error code, just use scanner to clear if show negative/occasional; replace the lift struts if show permanent.
- 5.Confirm L/R mark on struts before install it on your tailgate.
- 1. Push the trunk close button.
- 2. Close the tailgate by hand slowly and push the trunk open button.
- 3. Use diagnostic scanner to reset control module and push trunk close button
